Yes, this was one of the most wonderful xmas's yet. Everything leading up to x-mas morning, decorating the house, spending time with you, Jeff and Jake, the time we had alone stuffing stocking, now that you are an official member of the "Mothers Stocking Stuffers Society", wrapping the final few gifts, laughing and have a great time. I believe as I am maturing, (not getting older) I do understand more and more the feeling of Christmas. It is the family. All of the gift were extra-ordinary. I was so surprised and overwhelmed. Never did I think I was going to get a mixer, let along the professional 6 quart. Tom was so happy with his computer stuff. Was a really good one for him as well. You and Jeff made this a wonderful Christmas. But I guess the best part was being together. The gifts were wonderful but the time together was the best. Starting with Tom and I getting the rooms ready, wondering if Jake would be able to settle down in the new room, wondering if you and Jeff would be comfortable in the spare bedroom instead of on the floor in the living room, standing in line on Christmas Eve at 6:00 PM (so much for all that shopping ahead of time) getting a few extra stocking stuffers and finding Jakes slippers. Having Jake there on Christmas morning brought back so many memories of when the boys were young. As much as family meant then, it did seem to be about the gifts and the toys for the boys. Yes, it is truly about family. To one of the best Christmas�s and one of the best daughter-in-laws (more like my daughter)ever!!!!!!!

We had better change the tone or all we will be doing is getting our keyboards wet. Looking so forward to New Years Eve. Menu ready, air has been reduced, house have been straightened, and guestures is up stairs. The craft room has also been straightened. We may want to do a platter or two for you to take to your parents. Maybe (with my new Kitchenaid) we can make some additional cookies to take down with you. Got the slippers for Jake exchanged. Got the mediums instead of small. will keep them here so the medium should work out okay. By the way, they were half price. It's those store buster pricing. Love Gramma Judi

Hello, hope all went well at your dad's. How is Mr. Buddy doing? Is he sleeping better? Wanted to let you know, I had a great New Years with you, Jeff and Jake. I believe we did our part to follow the German tradition to begin the New Year by having pork; starting with the bacon for breakfast and then the ribs snacks through out the day. I did like the snacking all day on New Years Day. Was probably because New Years Eve dinner was simply fabulous right down to the cheesecake with strawberries. The tenderloin and giant shrimp were mouthwatering. Jeff is a great chef. How are you feeling? I would think pretty exhausted. You have done so much in the last couple of weeks keeping everyone happy. Your thoughtfulness is appreciated by all of us. You have 3 sets of parent to try to keep happy and you do a really great job. I feel something very special between you, Jeff, Tom and I. I really wanted you to get some rest while Jake was up during the night. I was able to sleep in the last couple days but your schedule was very busy. Watching more playoffs, whoopee. I may start doing a needlepoint to take up some time. Do have to do some personal clothes and my hair tonight. I was able to find the stuff for mixing at the beauty supply for a lot less then the price paid for the kit. Cream Developer (20 oz) was about 3.50 and the powder packets were about the same. Will need one for each process. Well, I hade better get going. Will talk, type of see you soon. Love Gramma Judi Kiss the Boys for me.
